 Kent County Council has introduced a new feature for your website to aid accessibility for the public which is called Browsealoud.  You can see the logo to the left.

Browsealoud offers a practical website access service to people with reading difficulties and those who find it easier to listen to, rather than read, the content of websites. It assists in the navigation of websites for those with:

·    Lower literacy and reading skills

·    Dyslexia

·    Mild visual impairment

It also has other features such as a dictionary, the ability to convert text into an audio file and translation to a number of European languages.

 

If you wish to use it please click and follow onscreen instructions to download the programme to your computer. If you use it please email the webmaster and give feedback, which will be sent to KCC anonomously.
